Design Process
Firstly the whole process has been geared towards making it easy and cutting down the time it takes to get a site produced. This helps keep costs and inevitably prices low.
The design concept will be built into a working concept site that the client can move around, test and again ask for alterations to. Notice that the rest of the money will be paid once the project becomes live.
Typically this process takes around 2 weeks but it can go faster if the client already has good photos ready and their content organised. It is simple, fast and above all very convenient process as you never have to schedule design meetings or wait for months for the site to be developed.
- When someone is interested in a project from LDV Media, they must first request a quote from the request a quote page or compelete a LDV Media design brief form. We will get back to you and discuss the design options, the requirements and what other resources they have to bring to the project such as photography and content.
- They will then be advised about a concept that needs to be produced. Typically this means emailing the logo and some pictures across. This allows our designers to work on a design concept while the client gets to work on writing their content pages.
- Once an initial design is ready it will be shown to the client, they can make any alterations they like including a total overhaul of the design if they don't like it and this will go back and forth until a design is being approved.
- Once the client approves the design they will have to pay their first instalment, which is usually 50% of cost of the whole project. Production of a working concept will not start until this payment has been made.
